Hersh Safaris – Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy

Payment Terms

To confirm your safari booking, the following payment schedule applies:

  • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation.
  • 30% payment is due 30 days prior to the travel date.
  • 20% balance is due 15 days prior to the travel date.

Alternatively, for select safari packages:

  • 40% upfront payment is required to enable us to secure hotel and service deposits.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than one (1) month before the safari commencement date.

Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.

 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. The cancellation policy takes effect from the date Hersh Safaris (operated by We Travel Limited) receives written notice of cancellation.

The following charges apply:

  • 45 days or more before departure: No cancellation fee (full refund, less any
    non-refundable third-party costs).
  • 44 – 31 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee on the total booking amount.
  • 30 – 21 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee on the total booking amount.
  • 20 – 11 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee on the total booking amount.
  • 10 – 0 days before departure: No refund.

 

Please note that some accommodations, airlines, or third-party suppliers may have stricter cancellation terms, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
